The 160 square km Clwydian Range offers untold numbers of excellent short walks but some of the best walks are on long-distance footpaths. The most famous of these is the Offa’s Dyke National Trail.

It runs from Prestatyn through the Clwydian Range before heading off down the Welsh/English border to Cheapstow. The full route takes about 3 days to complete, but if you are feeling a little less energetic walking a small part of the route is possible.
