Vale Holiday Parks will be updating this page with the latest information and answers in response to Coronavirus

We have had no suspected cases of COVID-19 at any of our parks. This page will be frequently updated to reflect any changes to any Vale Holiday Parks.

Update: Sunday 22nd March 15:12

Dear Owners,

These are unprecedented times. We all have a responsibility to consider not just ourselves but also the people of our country, the local community and our parks.

We are having to make decisions and take actions which were unimaginable a few weeks ago.

We are closing with immediate effect all facilities on our parks.

Thank goodness for the announcements of support which have come from the Government which should help us to be ready to resume business just as soon as the crisis passes; we will be making every effort to ensure our staff are looked after during this period.

We are speaking to all holiday hire and touring bookings to ask them to stay away and to offer alternative dates when the crisis is over.

We ask private owners on the park not to stay in your holiday caravan at this time and to be sensitive towards the views and needs of the local community and NHS. We are expecting the Government to give us more guidance very shortly. We expect a clear message that holiday and touring parks must not stay open for business as usual. We hope there will also be some guidance about those using holiday caravans as their home.

The time for you to leave in a safe and orderly way is limited.

If there is any reason why you cannot leave, you need to discuss that with us now.

Over the last 24 hours, there has been an increasing and understandable concern in local communities towards the owners of second homes and caravans, as well as holiday visitors. The Government’s clear guidance is that there must be no unnecessary or non-essential travel.

We ask private owners who are not on a park not to come here, and if you are on a park please go home. We are following the Government’s guidance and are closing to protect you and the wider society.

Our parks are temporarily closed for holidaymakers from 21 March – 16 April 2020.
We know you have concerns about the current Coronavirus situation and how this affects your planned holiday at Vale. As we continue to reflect on this, and how it impacts the experience we can offer, we have taken the decision that our parks are temporarily closed for holidaymakers until 16 April.
We know how disappointing this will be for all those guests who are booked to stay with us during this time but every decision we make, we are doing to ensure the safety and security of our guests, owners and teams as our number one priority.
We are contacting everyone who has a break booked during this period.
We would like to thank our guests for their patience whilst we work through this as quickly as we can.
We would like to apologise to everyone for this disruption and thank our teams for their continued support. We look forward to welcoming our guests soon.


What are my options if my holiday is affected by the closure?

Option1: Move your booking to a later date
Move to a new date in the future with no amendment fee, plus you will receive a 10% discount off the price of your new holiday. Please note that if you select a lower-priced break we will refund the difference. If the break you select is higher priced you will need to pay any outstanding difference.
Option 2: Choose a full refund
We hope you'll rearrange your break but we understand that this won't be possible for everyone. If you prefer a refund you may of course take this option.

Can I still book with Vale Holiday Parks?

Of course! Plus, you can take advantage of our fantastic new flexible booking feature - Vale Flex - which allows you to reschedule the dates and location of your holiday up to 7 days before your arrival date.
