Over the coming months, we’ll be running a series of fun competitions to win holidays at all the Vale Holiday Parks and Clarach Bay Holiday Village.

2020 has been a difficult year so far, so we wanted to bring a little positivity our Vale Holiday Parks and Clarach Bay Holiday Village family of guests and owners! That's why we've come up with this series of competitions to give you the chance to win a free holiday. So that you have something to look forward to for when this is all over.

Writing competition update:

We have now closed our writing competition and have loads of entries to sort through. We will let you know shortly when we have our winners and remember to subscribe to CBTV where they will be announced!

What are the prizes:

The prizes will all be weekend holidays at either Vale Holiday Parks or Clarach Bay Holiday Village where the lucky winners will receive free accommodation in one of our lovely caravans/holiday homes. (The location, style and caravan occupancy will vary by each competition).

The dates for these holidays will fall between Autumn of 2020 and Spring of 2021*. A month will be given in each competition, and holidays must be taken during off-peak days in that month (aka, not school holidays), but we are otherwise giving the lucky winners the pick of a month's weekends to choose their holiday! 

Please note though, the winning holidays do not include Vale Flex, so once chosen dates will not be changeable. 

*Subject to parks being open - if the parks aren't able to open by Autumn, the dates will be amended to a suitable time!

How to enter:

It couldn't be easier to enter - we'll be launching new competitions on Fridays, you'll then have 1 or 2 weeks to get your entries in (depending on the competition guidelines), after that we'll choose a winner and a free holiday could be yours.

Every competition is different! So even if you can't enter one week, you could be a winner the next week.

Only one entry per competition though please! And you have to be entering from the UK

When the lockdown is all over, the winners will be able to enjoy their fabulous free holidays.

How will the competitions be run:

• Competitions will be announced every Friday, to give people a chance to work on their entry over the weekend
• Each competition will run for one/two weeks
• Competitions will then be judged by the Vale Holiday Parks/Clarach Bay Holiday Village teams before the winners are announced on CBTV
• Competitions will vary massively in terms of content, with every week being different from the last.

Competition terms and conditions:

• These terms and conditions apply to all competitions run by Vale Holiday Parks and Clarach Bay Holiday Village.

• By entering a competition entrants accept these terms and conditions together with any specific instructions and terms for such competition which may be mentioned in any electronic messages, or on the website, or communicated to entrants in any other way (“competition information”). Such competition information shall prevail in the event of there being any inconsistency between these competition terms and conditions and any competition information.

• Vale Holiday Parks and Clarach Bay Holiday Village may cancel or amend any competition, competition information, or these terms and conditions without prior notice. Any changes will be posted either within the competition information or these terms and conditions.

• By claiming the prize, entrants will be deemed to have read and accepted these terms and agree to be bound by them.

• The competition is open to all residents of the United Kingdom, aged 18 and over, except for employees of Vale Holiday Parks and Clarach Bay Holiday Village and their families, partners, and anyone else connected with the creation and administration of the promotion.

• Vale Holiday Parks and Clarach Bay Holiday Village reserves the right to alter or amend the method of entry or The Competition at any time.

Competition Entry

• Vale Holiday Parks and Clarach Bay Holiday Village reserves the right to alter or amend the method of entry or The Competition at any time.

• Entry to the competition may only be made through the applicable method indicated in the competition information.

• No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.

• Any limit on the number of entries a person or household may make will be clearly stated in the competition information. Entries received that exceed this limit will be invalid and will not be entered into the competition.

• The opening and closing dates and times for entries are as indicated in the competition information. Any entries received before the opening and after the closing of the competition will be invalid and will not be entered into the competition.

• In the event of any fault, mistake, misunderstanding or dispute concerning the correctness or acceptability of the entry or any answers given by entrants (if applicable), or the operation of any part of the competition, the decision of Vale Holiday Parks and Clarach Bay Holiday Village shall be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

• Vale Holiday Parks and Clarach Bay Holiday Village will not be liable to reimburse expenses incurred in making an entry in any competition. 

Prize

• The prize is as specified in the competition information.

• Depending on the competition, the winner will be chosen or selected at random and be will contacted within 14 days of the competition end date.

• Winners must claim their prize within 10 working days of notification or the prize will be void and a new winner selected.

• Vale Holiday Parks and Clarach Bay Holiday Village decision on the winner is final.

• The winner must provide proof of identity upon request.

• Where an entrant requires the details of his/her parent/guardian to be entered onto the entry forms, Vale Holiday Parks and Clarach Bay Holiday Village may ask for proof of age and in all competitions evidence to verify the identity of that entrant at any time and may use any channels and methods available to carry out checks of any details provided. Entrants may only enter the competition in their own name.

• Vale Holiday Parks and Clarach Bay Holiday Village is entitled to refuse to process any prize where it deems necessary. For example, if you are unable to or fail to produce sufficient identification when claiming a prize.

• Vale Holiday Parks and Clarach Bay Holiday Village will not be held accountable for any costs, losses, damages and expenses (including travel fees) which the winner may incur in relation to The Competition or prize or as a result of any misrepresentation of the prize.

• Vale Holiday Parks and Clarach Bay Holiday Village reserves the right to declare The Competition null and void and stage another competition in its place.

• The Competition prize is non-transferable and there shall be no alternative prize or cash alternative offered.

• By claiming The Competition prize constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

• Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and WalesPrivacy Policy

• By submitting the Competition Form, you agree to Vale Holiday Parks and Clarach Bay Holiday Village

Privacy Policy

• When you enter The Competition, we will ask for the following personal information:

  • First name and surname

  • Telephone number

  • Email address

• When you submit a nomination, Vale Holiday Parks and Clarach Bay Holiday Village will review all of the information provided in line with the selection criteria outlined in the terms and conditions.

• Vale Holiday Parks and Clarach Bay Holiday Village will use the personal information provided to select a winner. Such personal information shall only be kept by Vale Holiday Parks and Clarach Bay Holiday Village for as long as necessary and will be promptly deleted thereafter.

• Vale Holiday Parks and Clarach Bay Holiday Village will use the personal information provided by nominators to contact them for the winner’s details. Winners will be contacted and asked to confirm that they are happy to be winners of the Competition and for their personal information to be used for this purpose. If a winner does not wish to accept the Competition prize, then their personal information will be promptly deleted.

Publicity

• Vale Holiday Parks and Clarach Bay Holiday Village may exercise its sole discretion to use the winner’s name, image and their comments relating to the prize and competition experience for future promotional marketing and publicity purposes in any media worldwide without notice or without any fee being paid.

• Entry to the competition may only be made through the applicable method indicated in the competition information.
