If you're planning on bringing your dogs on holiday, please make sure to book pet-friendly accommodation. We allow up to two well-behaved dogs and do not allow any breeds on the banned dog list.

The closest town to Liskey Hill is Perranporth. We’re set just enough into the countryside to avoid the busier centre of town, yet only minutes’ walk from its restaurants, shops and the beach!

All about Perranporth, North Cornwall

Perranporth is a charming North Cornwall town with one of the best beaches in Britain.

It’s located on the picturesque Cornish coast, next to the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty - the St Agnes Heritage Coast. Moving north up the coast there are the charming seaside villages, Holywell and Crantock, before the bustling town of Newquay.

Perranporth town

Perranporth is a lovely, quintessentially Cornish town. There are pubs, take-aways and restaurants to visit if you don’t fancy cooking at your holiday caravan. Plus, shops to grab any essentials (such as Boots or the Co-op) and local, independent shops to pick up souvenirs.

For little ones, there is a great ice cream parlour, a playground and even a boating lake where you can feed the ducks.

Perranporth beach

Perranporth Beach is a 3-mile stretch of beautiful golden sands. Such a large beach means that even during the height of summer, there’s space for everyone. 

It’s one of those rare beaches that has everything! 

• Being next to town, there are shops and cafes to grab food from 
• There are sand dunes teeming with wildlife to explore. 
• Perranporth beach is even the only UK beach to have a bar on the beach. 
• It’s great for surfing and other watersports.

🐶 Dogs are allowed at Perranporth Beach year-round. But during July and August, they must be kept on leads in the main beach area. Some Cornish beaches don’t allow dogs during the summer months, so Perranporth is perfect for pups.

At Liskey Hill Holiday Park, we have a variety of caravans to suit every holiday, from Bronze budget-friendly caravans to luxurious platinum caravans. 

Our ‘plus’ range of caravans sleeps up to 6. Certain caravans are listed as pet friendly, which means you can bring up to two well-behaved dogs, although please note that we do not allow any dogs on the banned dog list. 

We also have The Sea Breeze Bungalow which caters for a total of 4 people if you're looking for something a little more "Home from home".
